High Spy - Keswick

High Spy is a luxury 4 star Gold Award apartment in the heart of Keswick with stunning views to the western fells. It provides a perfect base for those wishing to fell walk, tour or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake District. Ideally situated on the quiet Borrowdale Road but only a two minute stroll from the town centre, lake and parks, it has the benefit of its own private off-street parking space. The apartment also has Wireless Internet access.

The spacious apartment, over two floors, is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Great attention to detail has been put into the decoration of each room and all the furniture is of excellent quality. Accommodation is provided to sleep up to five people plus a baby. Full central heating and double glazing is provided throughout to ensure the apartment is warm and cosy. The apartment was completely redecorated, inside and out, in 2021.

On entering High Spy, the ground floor lobby allows storage for buggy's etc and bikes (latter by agreement). From the staircase to the second floor, there is a landing area for boots, coats etc. Inside there is a large entrance hall with built in storage. The three bedrooms and bathroom are off this hallway.



Upstairs there is a second WC and a spacious and comfortable lounge with two new leather settees, colour 4K Smart TV (including BT Infinity/BT Sport/YouView package and Netflix), DVD, DAB radio/ CD, modern furniture and various pictures of the Lakeland fells.



A full width patio window with sliding door access to the balcony (with patio table and chairs) provides full appreciation of the magnificent uninterrupted views to the West (fantastic sunsets!), including Walla Crag to High Spy, Maiden Moor, Cat Bells, Causey and Grisdale Pike and Skiddaw.

The dining area has seating for five and benefits from the same fell views as the lounge. Adjoining the lounge/dining area is the spacious and well equipped kitchen (with views of Latrigg Fell).



The fully fitted modern kitchen has all the necessary integrated modern facilities including electric oven and gas burner hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.



There are three spacious bedrooms, one with a king size double bed, one with twin single beds and a single bedroom. All the bedrooms have co-ordinating curtains and bed linen, chest of drawers and wardrobes with ample hanging room. The large double bedroom also has wide ranging fell views.

The fully tiled and refurbished bathroom has a shower over the bath, wash basin and toilet. (On the upstairs landing there is a further toilet and wash basin adjacent to the lounge, dining area and kitchen).



High Spy is inspected by Visit England annually as we wish to continue to provide the highest standard of comfort and cleanliness.
